Need a diy coop for two flocks

I need to build a coop for two flocks. I have a flock of 20 standards and another flock of 15 bantys (if you must know....chicken math y’all!)
I plan on having two coop rooms divided by a storage/feed room. I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar set up. Should I even worry about keeping them separate?

How are you housing them currently???
If you will have separate coops,, then you must consider separate runs.
If your facility is large enough,, then you may have success keeping all together. I have always kept Banties, and LF. together. My chickens are my pets, and my math is controllable.

If you decide to keep all together, I suggest you design your roosts, in such a way so the bantams are able to roost in space, but the LF are not able to crowd them out. Generally the height amount above roost will determine size of chicken to use space.

Thank you! Right now they are almost feathered out and quickly outgrowing their brooders. They are separated into three groups right now. Legbars, starlites and Easter eggers in one. Silkies and a few mixed breed standards in another. A mix of bantys with a few standard Orps in the last. I plan on all standards to be in one coop/run & all bantys/silkies in another. Easier to be swarmed by 20 rather than 40 when I enter the run lol
