Need a female duck for grieving drake

I have a Pekin drake who's mate was killed by a dog. He is grieving himself to death. I bring him in the house and love on him but he's just not the same. I'd like to find him another mate so he can live again. I'm in the wake forest /youngsville area

You can also post on the "duck thread." They could advise on what to do - buy, a mature female or duckling. In either case he may not accept either one because they aren't "his" mate.
