I have read several of posts that you all have baby monitors... I told my husband that I wanted to get one since I am such a mother hen and constantly worry. I told him that several of you have them and they work. He asked me if I also wanted him to put up cameras I asked him if he could and hook them up to the puter

... he just looked at me like I was crazy...

Do any of you have cameras? Now he says I could get a rent a cop if I was that worried about them

We have a little goat in the shop and we keep a small TV going for her. We sneak in there and see her on the table with it watching it!

My DH wants a camera with color and infrared, we measured the distance from the coop to the house and he told me to order one this morning! He said if we get tired of watching the hens we can move the camera to the pond and see the night critters. WOO HOO

The visual on the "rent a cop" is a scream!! My DH thinks I am nuts over my girls, I think I will tease him a little with this idea......

my DH just gave me "they're just chickens!?!" look when i originally mentioned a baby monitor.

then he went and spent way too much money on sirius satellite radio.

so i spent way too much money on a supped up baby monitor.

now he thinks it's cute i'm so paranoid.

it is kind of amazing how much money we've spent of 4 chickens that originally cost us $12.

With my DH it is boats and fishing stuff and hunting stuff. So when he complains about the girls, I remind him how much money he spends on his hobbies and that mine are not all that bad, plus they make us breakfast!!

peepsnbunnies you are soooo right! My dh loves guns! They cost sooo much more than a chickie. The ammo costs so much more than my chickie feed! He doesn't hunt he just target shoots so he isn't bringing home any food!

oh goodness... I want the baby visual monitor that ratlumm is getting... I showed it to my hubby told him I wanted it... he said in a firm voice "NO"

and I agree with you all... my hubby spends so much more than I do on hunting, fishing and cars... and like was mentioned... mine puts breakfast and dinner on the table!!!

If he does let me get the camera I will stream it too LOL. Enjoyed the replys and thanks for the laughs
