Looking at these photos I believe there are two cockerels and two pullets. Not bad odds. Sometimes I get the worst luck.

So how do I go about getting more hens? Like breed wise, is there a specific type that can't be bred with mine? It sounds like a stupid question but I don't know if that's a thing.

Should I get rid of one of the roosters or? We are looking to have egg layers and down the road, meat. Will these two roosters fight once they get bigger over the hens?

You can keep all different breeds and color varieties of chickens together and even let them breed there’s nothing wrong with doing that.

It’s possible that they may fight. Generally it’s to work out the pecking order. If you want you can raise them up and then butcher them when they get big enough.
