Those ears looked like a fennic fox.

I'm terrible with names, I just call our chocolate lab mix "Brown dog".

Depends on what you are leaning towards.
Some people like German names since they are a German breed. Others want more common name and yet others want uncommon.

Our first GSD was Colonel Anwar. His dad was a General and we didn't think he should out rank his dad. lol
Our second male was Yukon. Hated the name but he was 5 years old when we got him so we left it.
Rex was named after my husbands' Grandfathers GSD back in the 60-70's that he trained in Schutzhund.
And we have Mace and Blackjack now.

I like Geist(Ghost), Judge, Hans, Zeke, Sarge, Gunny(Gunner), Tal(means valley in German), Rolf, Tank and Stryker
