need a new name

My chicks' names are Aster, Azalea, Dahlia, Ginger, Hazel, Iris, Jasmine, Lavender, Magnolia, Pepper, Poppy, Sage, and Violet. Now it turns out that our Buff Rock chick Iris is actually a roo. So we are in the market for a good name that sticks with our herb/flower theme. The chick in question is the one on the left in this picture.

Some of my ideas for a boy are foxglove, nightshade, vetch, nettle(s) , yarrow, basil, tarragon, clover and spearmint.

One of our chicks names is Basil. It is actually a hen, but that would work for a roo also. Another name could be Parsley, or even Oregano! )

I am partial to Basil too since I have one but she is a pullet I am pretty sure but I also like Clover, Willow (though a tree, still a plant), Anise, Yarrow, Dandelion (could be Dandy for short which is perfect for a rooster) Sage (another of my flock), Garlic (hey it is a flower if you let it) Clematis (Clem for short also a great boy name.) I will think on it for a possible to be continued post lol
