Yeah I lived in ND and they had tornadoes, none in Montana. Well the risk is not as great anyway.

I have one more egg zipping pretty good. MAYBE ANOTHER BABY SOON!

Oh and my little baby tripped over another egg (bad idea to leave the tray in by the way). The egg didn't budge when trying to climb over it and it got on its back and couldn't get up. I gave it a few minutes and as fast as I could opened up the lid just quick enough and high enough to get it on its feet and closed the lid! Took 5 seconds!! note to self, take tray out next time. I didn't figure it would be a big deal because its flat, but it doesn't give the eggs room to move as the chickens hatch and move around...ahhh

I was mistaken, Two females! YAY now that they are drying they are more redish, not yellow

Congrats to you! I have 8 babies and 4 in the process. I've had to help several. I think my humidity was too low and the shell was drying too fast. I snatched the eggs out quickly and held it on a warm wet wash cloth while I heled it zip, then put it back. Didn't want to make them hatch before the yolk was absorbed. I misted the eggs with warm water then closed the lid.
