Need advice-duck still sitting on nest eggs not going to hatch

Please help me- my beautiful Kingsley Is still sitting on her nest and it's past the amount of days it takes for them to hatch

If I take the eggs will she be heartbroken? I don't want my beautiful baby to have to sit there for nothing. Which will end up with her being heartbroken anyways i know please tell me what to do because I have no idea

Take the eggs, break up the nest.
She won't be "heartbroken", she's just following hormones. If the eggs were never fertile, she shouldn't have been allowed to sit. Being broody is hard on birds.
