Okay, I posted a couple of days ago on the behavior part of this site that my silly chickens would not go into the house during a really hard rainstorm!! I was horrified to find them soaked to the skin afterwards! We are in Central Texas, so I did not worry too much, but this morning, a great number of my 10 girls are sneezing!! The low last night was 70 degrees. I only have some powdered duramycin, so I treated their water with that. They seem to be avoiding the water, I am sure the taste is different. Is there anything else I can do? They are eating like pigs, as usual, and seem okay otherwise.

add some sugar to the water to compensate for the bad taste? just a suggestion. don't have much more advice as I have a few chicks with runny noses myself...

Try ACV for a few days see if this helps~2 TBS/gallon water. I went out and bought a poultry nutri-drench b/c mine were all sneezing and lethargic. I am hoping this drench will give them a little nutritional boost.
