need advice, hens falling ill.

I have a small flock of twenty chickens they have been healthy so far, they are about three years old. One at a time is coming down with something, no symptoms other than fluffed up and inactive then they are dyiing. What are the chances I got a deadly bag of lay mash?? I have already lost three in one week. Please help. I have had chickens my whole life and have never had them just take sick without any symptoms like this.

I'm so sorry to hear of your situation. I don't have an answer for you but I think you should post this under the Emergencies/ Diseases/ Injuries and Cures section and make sure you use the words "help" and "emergency" in the subject line so people will pay attention. Again, I am sorry for your losses. I hope someone who might know something will respond.
