I recently found out that my family member has a health issues we have Guinea and chickens about 20 in all, my issue is wherewe live us an hour drive from industry and now I have to work.
I have the chance to move back to our neighborhood where I can work, but they don't let any fowl live there it's in town.
I have watched these babies hatch and grow and now what do I do with them?
Any advice would be helpful except to cull them.

I'm so sorry for all that you're going through! :hugs

Where are you located? You might post elsewhere (maybe in the "Swaps" forum or the forum specific for the area in which you live). Maybe someone there will know of someone who could adopt.

"Culling" simply means to remove, whether you are selling them, giving them away or killing thim. How does the family member with health issues connect to you moving? Do you live in the same household? Are you moving with this family member to the neighborhood where you can work? If that's the case, the best thing you can do is list them on Craigslist, with a local poultry club if there is one, put posters up at your local feedstore, put ads in the paper, or list them on a local rummage sale site. There is also a rehoming section here on BYC, and state threads. Find your state, let people know you have fowl to rehome. State ages, genders, and breeds.

Driving an hour or more to work is the price you pay for what I call quality of life. Living where you are free to do what you want how you want. I could never be comfortable living in a city or town with other people surrounding me on all sides.

I understand but what kind of life will I

get to enjoy being gone 12 hours a day?

Is that 4 days a week? Yeah all that time spent in the car or truck was not fun. That and the cost of gas was why I rode my motorcycle most of the time. Still if it`s 4 days you have 3 days a week that your not stuck in town wishing you were still in the country with your animals. It can be a tough choice. I enjoyed getting to ride my Harley at least 2 hours a day so not so tough for me.

BTDT. But didn't have chickens at the time, did have dogs tho. It stunk but how I paid the mortgage.
You're in a tough spot, only you can decide what's best for your situation.
Best of Luck to ya.
