Need advice on Falcon Attack injury

I didn't see you mention vitamins yet unless I missed it.

I would be giving her Poultry Cell water. The first time, I'd drip a little full strength in the side of her beak. It's amazing how a vitamin boost can help!

Can you leave the bandages off though? You could rinse her affected area with saline solution or Epsom salt bath water if it looks like a cleaning would do some good. Keep doing the triple antibiotic ointment. If she pecks some of it, it won't hurt her. Getting exposed to some air might help it heal faster.
Thank you. I have not started vitamins. I will go to Wilco and get some. I have removed the bandages as of today and I am keeping the wound as clean as I can. I have an iodine rinse and then the triple ointment. She is really moving around. I am going to bring in her friend that she was hatched with and let them visit. The other one is still outside and having a meltdown that she is gone. It might be good for them to visit for even 15 minutes.

I wanted to update you all on Goodwin. She survived her falcon attack and has become a fixture in our bathroom. She will never look right under feathers, as she had a lot of scarring, but she is a happy chicken. We are building a new chicken run next to our second large coop (it's empty now). It is taking us longer than I would like, but we will get her moved in soon. Since I also have a hen with a prolapsed vent right now they are both inside and I hope to move then together if we are successful with the prolapse.
