I have a pop door? you know the type that slides up and down....for the chickens to go into the run. I currently don't have the run done yet, BUT it is not going to be a predator proof run. They will be secured in their coop instead, just the run during the day... and when we come outside they will come outside to run around in the yard... I plan on keeping them in the run when we are inside the house...
So, the door that slides up and down, I need that to be predator proof... right now I have it screwed shut since it isn't in use. I noticed yesterday that if I push on the lower part of the door it will push into the coop quite a bit, so whatever I do to predator proof it will need to fix that issue.... I know of ways that I can do that from the run side of the door, but once the fencing etc is up it won't be as easily accessible. So, what ways can I predator proof the door to the run from the inside of the coop?
