That's an excellent idea for people with open nesting boxes! Kudos! You could just drape a towel over the top and she will feel pretty safe as you transport.

Dumb question.....do you put the crate up so they can get down in it, or do you turn it on it's side? I've got two broody ones now and I think this would be an awesome idea!
