My silkie hen has been sitting on 6 eggs, not sure of the due date but I've candeled them and they all have kicking little babies inside
Anyway my question is....if all goes well and I get some chicks, can I leave them in with the hen? I've never hatched with a broody before (always incubated) so this is a new experiance for me. Will the hen take care of them? I can bring them in if nessesary but my house is so full of animals right now lol. I'd like to leave them outside with her, but I just worry about the cold! also will the other silkies bother them? Please let me know what you think!
