need advice on turkey cull please...

i had to cull my big turkey tom today after he received a bad blow to the head from my donkey.
so i took an axe to his head then hung him up to bleed out. Now heres where i need help.
can i leave him hanging up until tomorrow morning? (its minus 2 degrees celsius out tonight so freezing lightly) or do i have to pluck and gut him tonight?

Terribly sorry to hear about the accident.

I would definitely gut him tonight, but you can leave the feathers in.

With it being so close to freezing it is probably okay to leave him hanging. I agree though I would definitely gut him out before leaving him hanging. But if you leave him hanging it will allow time for the meat to rest before you freeze it.
