**Need Advice on Why Hens Stop Laying***

My girls haven't laid in a week! There's been bwawking, so I go out and check, but nothing. I've even seen them in the nest boxes. I'm gonna have to put an egg in the nest and see what's up. If they were egg eating, I'd think there'd be a little something stuck to the timothy hay.

The feed switcharoo is just enough to throw the ol' gals delicate systems off kilter. To have good production out of any type layer it takes a (routine) reg. feeding schedule and plenty of it too(at least a 16% min. protien layer ration), also it should be availible WHENEVER they get ready to eat it. Give them a little bit to get back on schedule with their reg diet and they should get back up and going again. They may not be as productive as before but thats just due to the waning daylight hours now this time of the year.

Hope I helped on the confusion/unconfusion
