Actually a cousin's wife saw it earlier and said there's no sign of infection. It's only inflamed. This person at one time was going to school to either become a vet or a vets assistant.

Oh good. It always seems to help me when I can get someone else to actually look at something like that. It's so hard to deal with sometimes when all you can do is take a pic or describe it in a message.

Well, I actually didn't get her and my cousin to come over for that. They had stopped in to get the stakes for the party tents and I asked them to help me get the hen seeing how her one leg has a wound that I wanted to clean. The wife also said it looks like it was healing nicely.

That works! Sometimes you just have to wrangle help. Lol
