Need advice quick!!

I have eggs in a Hova Bator with fixed temperature that now need to go into a hatcher. Problem is the other Hova Bator is running a couple degrees lower. Maybe because of the heat generated from the egg turner. Will it kill the chicks switching them? Does anyone have the Genesis 1588? Are you hatching using water in the 2 center water wells? Thanks in advance.

Never used a hava bator before but I incubate all my eggs at 99.7 but my hatcher runs at 98.5 with 70% humidity. I would fill all the cells. Did you check the temp in both with the same thermometer?

Yes, using the same 2 thermometers. Darn, these are Java eggs....hope I don't loose them.

Thanks for the reply. I do have the cells in the hatcher full and humidity is hovering around 70. I read from another thread where someone turned off all the toggles then turned on 7 to get the right temperature. I just did that. Had no idea how to change it so maybe this will solve the problem. I'm waiting to see what happens. Please...if anyone has an answer ... share it with me. I should move them now. Thanks so much and happy hatching everyone!

When is your hatch day? Don't freak out yet. Post something in the incubating and hatching section. There is a million folks ther with that unit and could help. I also know a bunch of people who never stop turning and hatch them in the turner. If you think about it, the hen never stops turning.

If you are worry about the hatcher.......you can hatch them in the incubator, just turn off the turner on hatch day.

Hatch day is Wednesday but could be sooner. The incubator has been running warm. Now that I think I know how to adjust the temperature I'll do so when I can. I have other eggs in the same incubator so humidity would be a problem if I let them hatch in there. I had an egg hatch in the turner last year. Was a total shock, LOL!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me....I want some Java babies so much. Not sure what I should refer to them as since I don't have D&A proof my male and female are full blood. Seperate seller of both swore they were but have people questioning me all the time about it.
