My Americauna is about 1 1/2 years old and very healthy. Yesterday, she got fairly wet in the massive rains we had. When I picked her up to put her to bed in her coop, I noticed that, not only was she all wet, but her crop was really swollen. She is acting fine and gave us a lovely egg this morning. Her crop is still swollen today. Not hard or impacted, just lemon-sized and feels like a balloon. I don't know if being wet had anything to do with it, or if she just gorged on fresh spring worms! Should I be concerned?
