I AM ON DAY 18 AND HAVE NOT TURNED THEM SINCE LAST NIGHT. TEMPATURE IS AT 100 AND I CAN NOT GET HUMIBITY PAST 66%. I HAVE A DISH WITH SPOONGE IN IT AND IT IS SOAKED. ALSO WHEN DO I PULL THE RED VENT PLUGS IN THE TOP OF MY LG 9200. I HAVE FIFTEEN EGGS IN IT.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP. I AM DOING THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME.

Today Friday Morning I have successfully hatched a baby quail that i was trying because someone gave them to me and were not sure if they were fertile. Kids are so excited. Chicken eggs are moving around alot too.

Actually, that humidity isn't bad, but if you have a folded paper towel or those blue shop towels, which are hold more water, just wet that with hot water and place it in quickly. I would pull one plug now, even trying to keep humidity up. Ventilation is just as crucial as well as humidity, or moreso. I hatch with 68-72% humidity, so you're pretty close as it is.

Your vent plugs should be open now.

Make sure all the water channels in the base are full of water and
put a wet sock in too if that doesn't bring up humidity.

You Hygrometer may also be innacurate.

Only open the bator to add water. Keep that temp up.

Friendly forum advice:
Don't type in all caps. It means you are screaming.
Be more accurate with your subject line. You will get better,
more detailed help that way. "NEED ADVICE" could mean
anything.

Good luck on your hatch. I have a few hatching in my 9200 right now.

Little trick:
If your windows steam up your humidity is too high. A little around the corners
is ok. Watch your temp close.

Keep us posted and take pictures!!!
