Need Advice, what would you do?

So I few weeks ago, a family friend asked if she could buy a rooster from me. I hesistated, but agreed. I had 8 and knew that at some point, they would have to go. I'm having a hard time finding them homes, no one wants them. Well she told me today, that it died 3 days later! I raised for 10 weeks, it was thriving and doing very well, and in 3 days she killed it! Today she had the nerve to ask me about buying another. My gut tells me no way...because I know it's fate. What would you do?.......But if I keep them, atleast 3-4 of them will be raised for meat, but that will be food to feed my own family. It might be wishful thinking, but my hope is to find them all good homes.

Did she say why it died? I would find that out before I even think about giving/selling another.

I would ask her what happened with the other rooster. Although unlikely, maybe it really was just a coincedence that it died. Sometimes a chicken seems to be doing really well and dies very suddenly for what seems to be no reason. I know how hard it is to find homes for roosters. I had to rehome one a few months ago and it was hard to find it a home.

Even if they are i would be hesitant on selling her another after only 3 days.
