Hi all,
New chicken mom here. My chicks are about 2 months old. one of them I think got jumped on and seems to have wry neck yesterday. She has moments that she can lift her head, but most of the time it is tucked under into the side. She also has a bubble of fluid at the base of her neck on the right side.
I have isolated her from the rest of the flock, and have been giving her some egg yolk and water with hydro hen via syringes. She seemed to be perking up last night, but today her crop is still full (soft like a water balloon) and she vomited this morning.

Any tips or advice on how to treat the wry neck and/or non-emotion crop would be much appreciated!

My hen got wry neck and I isolated and used vitamins but in the meantime, took a toilet paper roll, made a few cuts on either end to spread the ends out and slipped it on like a neck brace. It worked overnight!

Wow - such a great idea! I have been giving her Poultry Cell for the last few days and that definitely seems to have given her a boost, and she is eating (soaked feed) and drinking on her own now, but her neck is still spasming and tucking under multiple times a day. May give your toilet paper roll-brace a try!
