Hey all. I am fairly new here and I am trying to educate myself more.
Anyways, I could use some help. I am having some problems developing in my flock. I have 2 “older” hens, and have integrated 9 younger hens into the flock. All was going well until recently.
The 2 older hens refuse to go into the coop at night, while the younger ones have no issue. The older hens still go in the coop and lay, just won’t roost for the night.
I “think” it may be because 1 maybe 2 of the new chickens are roosters. They were supposed to be sexed, but you know how that goes. Here is a picture of one that I think is a rooster.
Any help would be appreciated.

You said everything was going well until recently. Do you mean that the older hens would go into the coop to roost even after they were initially introduced to the younger hens? I doubt it has anything to do with the roosters. Probably just an upset of the pecking order. You need to go out every night and put the older ones on the roost with the younger ones, if you're not already doing that. How long has it been?
