need answer quick about fertile eggs thanks!

How long will eggs be fertile after you get rid of a rooster? I have some one locally that will give me RIR eggs and they are doing away with the rooster because he is too aggressive and I want to know how long after will the eggs remain fertile?

How long can you safely store eggs before incubating them and it doesn't affect the hatching rate?

Usually about 2-3 weeks

The average is about 2 weeks +/-. The fertility rate starts to decline after that.

oh good so if I take the eggs any time before 2 weeks they should be okay! My incubator is full and I need another week!
