Need answer quick .....Question about flowers in chicken run

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I had to plant cucumbers 4 times last year. When ever the chickens were out they went into the garden and ate everything they could get to.
There pen is a barren land and outside the fence is trimmed as far as their necks could reach.

My chickens have free range of my back yard. And I have Holly Hocks planted all over my back yard. I even have some planted up against there pen. They have not eaten one plant. They do like to lay by them. So it should be ok
