I want to get Welsummers to show at a fair, but due to the delivery dates, I'd get them later than I'd like. So how fast do they mature? Slow or quickly? I'm getting Leghorns with them, so those mature pretty fast.

Yes, by mature I meant laying, but also in the fact that they "look" mature, fully grown waddles, combs, size, etc.What do you mean by mature? Laying? Most welsummer will start laying by 5-7 months. It takes most breeds of chickens about 2 years to fully mature, even a leghorn.
