My SIL was looking for a rooster and was given a rooster/hen pair that are supposedly the same breed. Here is a picture of the rooster and the hen (usually hiding behind the rooster). They are smaller than her leghorns so possibly a banty. She just wants to be able to tell people what they have if she hatches any eggs. The rooster has a rose comb and both have white ears.

Quote:Yeah, taken by himself, and especially looking at his tail form and his general posture, I first thought he was a Rosecomb. I'd bet he was a GSH X Black or BBR Rosecomb F2? Maybe? Take that as a guess from someone who's just started gaining understanding in the complexities of chicken genetics, though.
