I have a chicken that had Bumblefoot, she showed the classic scab on the bottom of both her feet. I have been treating it with epsom soaks, vetricyn, neosporin, and prid for over a week now. Her classic Bumblefoot scab has gone away and is replaced by a new scab. Does this mean it is healing on its own? I tried removing the scab but it will not come off, should I leave it alone? I have attached pictures.

You need to cut it open. Think of it like a cork instead of a scab.

Visualize the kernal like a pyramid. The base of the pyramid is the scab you see. The rest of the cork goes in to the foot like a pyramid, so you would cut in at an angle, going around the scab but cutting inward.

Then squeeze. The pus is a lot harder than human pus. Then soaking and drawing salve can help a lot more to get that gunk out.

But she's probably not going to walk normal with all that extra hard pus in her foot.

Lots of great YouTube videos to show you.

Also keep in mind it's a staph infection so use gloves and wash any towels really, really well with lots of hot water and hot dryer drying.

She is walking normally, and I don’t feel any hard pieces in her foot. on my other chicken, the scab came off with just soaking, why cut into this one?

You can try to keep monitoring it or you can try to find someone who can do it for you but you'd then have to be willing to swap out the dressings while the wound closes.
