Our chicks' names are:
Speckled Sussex: Sally
Dorking: Elizabeth (one of the Great Gonzo's chicken girlfriends)
Australorps: Cocoa and Peeps (named by two of my kids)
Black Sexlinks: Youffie (a kid named it) and Ven (short for ventriliquist, as it never seems to be making the noise it is making)
Cuckoo Marans: Josette, Lovey and Cecelia (the Great Gonzo's other girlfriend)
Brown sexlinks: Peachy and Mystery (because she is supposed to be a brown sexlink, but is solid white but has no comb to speak of, either so we wait to see)
EE's: Sue and Shirley. (Sue is HUGE and may be a roo--a boy named Sue?-- but is very gentle and has no comb yet, and Shirley has a comb already but she's small at the same age, so maybe not.)
Gold Wyandotte: No name yet. Leaning toward a Pittsburgh Steeler type of name, you know, black & gold and all, but can't find a nice one that is easy to spell and say and Troy is right out!
