Granny's gone and done it again

I was digging deep in my saved papers today. I'm still not finished with Medicaid five year look back period. In 2022 I got an estate check from my Aunt. I decided to put it towards our ford Ranger. I had Ford credit for a loan and back then, if I put a certain amount towards my payment, they lowered my monthly payment. So I decided if I split the check into two payments (it had to be the same month for Medicaid pay down), they will lower my monthly payment the first payment and the second payment will be enough to close the account. I did all that work, cashed my check at the bank it was written from, and now I have to get the paperwork together for verification. Luckily I still had the letter from Ford showing my pay off.

I do so many things like that too save money and now it makes allot extra work for me to assemble my documents. Sometimes I almost can't remember what I did in some instances. When it bothers me too much to sleep I pray... And somehow my puzzle that I created the last five years is coming together
I have a question. I know with my DH income we make too much for Medicaid. If he were to pass then on what I make I would qualify.. would they still want to look back 5 years at our income?

I don't remember the day they went but it was before the snow. It also was a small store in Versailles. They don't have much but high prices. The couple things they did buy is gone. I ate one of those frozen dinners they bring here. Gross but eatable.

Did you like it? Catch anything? where at???

Because its clabbered milk!!
I wasn’t asking you. But. You don’t like any of it. Do you like cheese? Goat cheese?

Scott and I were together for 30 years from when we started dating. Didn't date long. Only 3 months. We just knew. :)
I’m glad you knew!!!!!!!!!!! That’s awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I’m glad I didn’t get married so fast or at all. 😬🤣

I can't remember your age..close enough for Medicare? Remember, when your old enough to get Medicare, and I went for mine at 61 because you can..at least we could years ago..you can get more from your husband, even while he's alive. I did. Just thought I would throw that your way. Maybe you remember us talking about it a while back. Blue got some after the conversation.

That's right! I was able to get an amount equal to half of his added to mine and it didn't affect his. Really made a difference. And since I had only just learned about it, they gave it to me retroactively from the date I started collecting. It was a godsend! Thank you again, Cynthia! :hugs
