Need Coop Plan Critique Please

also, what breed of chickens will you have? Hard featherd birds roost's need to be from 5-6 foot tall, but birds that have trouble flying such as silkies only need roost as tall as 3-4 feet. the reason for high rost is because if the roost are the same height or smaller than the nest, the chicken will roost and poop in the nest, also it makes the birds feel safe from predators.

thanks so much for your amazing comments. They have me back at the drawing board.

Quick question: Initially wanted to have the coop be something I can walk into. How important is that? Or should I go for something shorter, more square?

thank you everybody for your comments. and btw, keep the "criticism" coming. I'd rather spend the time now on planning and get it as close to right as i can then build it and be unhappy with it.
