Need directions for sugar curing hams. Does anyone know how?

I was not certain where to put this post but this seemed the most likely.

I want to sugar cure some hams in the future and need someone to teach me how to do it. I figured with the wide tallents of the BYC family that someone here has the know how for this art

I sugar cure my own. Keep the temperature below 45 degrees. Build or find a shallow wooden box. I mix 50% brown sugar & 50% salt together. Put a good amount in the box, add ham, & put a thick layer of mix over the meat. Every day for 5 days, re-coat ham with mix. After 5 days, rinse the ham & ENJOY! You can buy sugar cure, but I think mine tastes better than store bought. I trap ferrel pigs, so I have cured ALOT of hams, & they're DELICIOUS!!
