Try going in at night with a flash light and seeing if you can see any crawling on roosts and etc
 
Ok, thank you all for the information... We will get some ivermectin tomorrow. Another question is it normal only one out of five have the lice?
 
No,one has it will spread to the others.Do they have dusting spots?Would use permituian spray as well.Treat twice every time you clean coop.I clean my coop every Sunday and treat my cooo once a year.Treated my coop with pemrethin spray last Sunday and today.Will not treat again unless noticed mites it lice.
 
She actually got this way about two months ago and then seemed to be getting better. We saw alot of new feather growth, but in the last few days it is quickly getting worse again. We put her up on a roost at night since her wings are bald.
