So the other day I was chasing my ducks out of the neighbors yard. They usually don't go over there and when I yell "babies stay out ta that road" they usually listen. But of course that time they decided to run as fast as possible across it over to the neighbors yard so I went over and chased them back over here. While I was doing so I noticed my runner Little was limping so me and my bf caught him and I looked at his foot and couldn't see anything wrong. Then I set him down and he was fine. A few days have past since but I ended up working overtime this week so I haven't been home much. Well today he couldn't put his foot down at all and I caught him again and looked at his foot and saw blood. I brought him inside and had my bf hold him while I cleaned the blood off and there's the smallest tear in his web. Like the very tip of his web between his toes. All that I can compare it to would be if you got a paper cut between your fingers. I'm assuming that's what it must feel like and that's why he is raising his foot. I'm not sure what to do bc the cut is so very very small. Which is why I don't have a pic to share with you guys. Any advice on what to do? Should I just monitor it?

I would keep him in overnight, and soak the foot in either Epsom salts solution or saline solution, and put an antibiotic ointment on the area. And I'd put ointment on twice a day for a few days, and keep an eye on it.

Thank you Amiga. I will do that

Just wanted to give an update. Little is doing better and his foot is healing up nicely. He can almost put all his weight on it again and yes happy to be back outside.

That should say he's happy not yes lol
