A stray guinea started hanging around my chickens. She was running around their pen during the day and roosting in the tree above the pen at night. Last night she went into the tool shed which is sectioned off into a coop area so I closed her in. This morning I opened the door to let her out but she came back in. I let her into the coop area and she has just sat in the window all day - not going into the pen with the chickens. I tried to let her out of the shed but she didn't want to go. She's been very quiet. Is a quiet guinea a good thing? Did I do the right thing by letting her in with my chickens? Would she be happier free ranging? My chickens don't free range due to predators in the area.
