Sharing something I do 24 hrs. after setting my eggs into the bator. I candle. Yep, and tonight, I could see several eggs' bulls eye! So, I have a few for sure that are going to be viable. Some I couldn't see..too dark..Marans..and some were questionable..so, I am guessing I have more that what I saw. I am really excited because the ones I could see the bulls eye in, were the blue eggs..that's what I want so bad, more EE's.

You are one busy little hatching mom! Wish I had the land to do more, but these will be taking over some of my older hens come this spring. These, and I have a SLW and Barred rock that I am keeping. Plus, I have some little bantams going into lock down on Mon. They will be split lavender, so could get black or the lavender..I want a lavender to add to my girls out there sooo bad. Very pretty..these bantams are cochins..just love them. The sweetest little bantam out there. I'll bet there are a few that would beg to differ, but we all have our favorites don't we?
I have a mottled cochin bantam, Baily, and a buff, Daisy, and a black, Fanny. Sooo cute, my grand kids love them! Even my DH gets a kick out of them.
Anyone else going to hatch around this time..come and join us in the waiting game.
