Looking to ad a unique breed to the flock

One that has unique/interesting looks but also a good layer. Suggestions?

I found a local breeder of Frizzle chickens. Frizzle can be crossed into just about any breed, but she specializes in Polish, Cochin, and Green Queen. I went with Green Queen to get interesting egg colors and a good layer while also having a cool looking chicken. It was a win-win all around.

You could also look into Zombie chickens, which are a less expensive alternative to Ayam chickens, which I've seen going for anywhere from $75 to $150 per bird. A friend of mine breeds Icelandics which are super rare in the US, which I think is pretty cool.

Ayam Cemani chickens are super cool and unique, but really expensive too. They're all black, but lay cream eggs.
