Need Help/Advice!

On day 16 of incubation and I candled this call duck egg and noticed this black spot in the egg. The embryo still seems to be alive and is moving around. Does anyone know what this black spot is and if they can help? Should I discard the egg? Will it hatch?

If you can see it moving, I’d let it try to hatch.

That eggshell is porous so sniff the egg. If it smells like a rotten egg toss it carefully. Check it again regularly. I don't know what that is but if it does not stink I'd give it a chance and expect success.

I checked it this morning and the embryo is still moving and alive. The strange black spot seems to have gotten smaller as well. Is that what I should be looking for?
