Trying to finish up my coop before my chicks get to much older. I'm turning a old playhouse into the coop. It is 71/2 ft by 71/2ft. I have payed down tile and insulated all walls and put up boards. In then picturs you can see the window on the east side which I can open or close and will lead into an outside enclosed run. In the drawing you can see that the pen will be L shaped but I guess I need help figuring out where to but nesting boxes which will be for bantams and silkies so I know close to ground for those. But where is the best place for roost and water and food. The open area will be for storage of their things.
