Hey everybody. I am sorry that I have posted on him lately. As of thursday he was still hanging in there. I haven't been able to check on him the last few day's due to some family issues, and my son graduating k4. I will post a update as soon as I know something. Thank you all so much for asking...
Just saw this thread. It makes me so sad and so very angry that someone would neglect the beings they are supposed to care for. I hope no more time passes before you can get this roo as he is suffering - every day must seem an utter eternity for him - he needs rescuing and TLC post haste. Shame shame and more shame on the person who has him.

Oh I agree totally. She really needed to do some "research" before she got into chickens. All she cares about is making money off the chicks.....
Well maybe explain to the nimrod that if the roo dies there will be NO CHICK MONEY! Hit her in her change purse and maybe she will wake up.
Good luck with getting him. You know you could call animal control...the dirty living environment could also hit her in the purse. Go get as many of her birds as you can including the roo...then call animal control...let them see the birds you get from her or take pictures on your phone of them.
Well I talked to the "so called owner" of the roo. Sad to say that he has passed on. I know that this is purley a case of neglect. I am just sorry that I wasn't able to do something sooner. Thanks to Poison Ivy for sending med's. and to everyone else for there warm thought's. I am just happy that he no longer has to suffer, he is walking along that rainbow bridge happy as can be.....

I am still trying to get the "rest" of her chickens. I had sold 9 of them for her and then she backed out and decided she was gonna keep them.....
As far as animal control goes.....
They suck! (excuse the language) They are to busy sitting in there aircondtioner to be concerned about chickens.

I know he is better off, but it is still hard to think about how much suffering he did before he passed. I hope she has many sleepless night's because of it. Thankyou
