I cannot help with your problem, but don't give your bird an aspirin down it's throat. You can dissolve 1 aspirin in 1 gallon of water and use that as her water.

do you realize how much they would charge for a chicken?

An emergency vet or regular vet will probally run you 75-150 depending on the area. Then any medications will prob be another 25-50 or more. If you don't want to pay that for a hen that probally cost $3 bucks, I don't blame you. If it was mine I would just put it down if it wasn't showing any signs of improvement.

im going to empty her crop again today,if i see no improvement by friday,i will let my friend take care of her for me,i feel bad for her.thanks silkiechicken

well it has not emptied over night ,and shes had no food or water since last night.

it has come time ,where i think ,i may have to open the crop and manually take the contents out,its impacted with liquid from yesterday and has not emptied,i think she has a blockage.can anyone please show me or tell me how to do this, before i lose her.
