One of my hens went broody and we don't have a rooster so I purchased 8 fertilized eggs. I had a bird mite infestation, and I treated the 4 hens I have and the coop. I took the eggs and put them in a large dog kennel to isolate my broody and chicks from the mites, but now I can't get my broody to go/stay in the kennel and my fertilized eggs are left abandoned (my fault I realize) I do not have an incubator, or another broody. Its been about 5 hours since these eggs have been sat on, an i just put them under a 60 watt light to keep the chill off. i really dont want to harm these lil babies and the chicks are about 3-5 days from hatching!!! What do I do??? Please be kind I am totally new at this and keep in mind I live in Hawaii so temp doesn't ever go below 65. Thank you so much for any sound advice
