Need help boiling fresh eggs

I have an electric 'egg cooker' -- for me, the 'secret' to peeling the very fresh boiled eggs is to immediately drop them in a bowl of water/ice cubes the second they finish cooking --
let them sit there a few minutes, crack and let them sit in the ice water another couple of minutes and the peels slip right off -- :)
 
i saw a video..and i think it was from here but anyways, you added baking soda to the water and it made peeling them very easy.
