Need Help...Cornish Meat Birds

Today i bought 6 chicks labeled Cornish meat birds with the intention to eat....mainly because they were only a dollar...Anyway I was wondering when I need to start taking their food away at night and about when they should be ready to slaughter...any advice would be very helpful...Ohh and I doubt they're over a week old..Thanks!!!

I would do 12 on 12 off for the feed. They are normally ready to process at about 8 weeks of age. This is a really awesome and informative thread....

I feed them all night and day and have the lights on 24/7 unless it is hot I have lost 0 birds this year but there last couple weeks of life, make the lights dim just so they can barely see there food for some reason they eat an outrageous amount of food (even more than usual) and gain major weight.
