Need Help deciding -- Opinions of quality

I want to buy my niece and nephews a horse tire swing for Christmas.

Here is my choice between two.

this one is regularly 150 on sale for 100 plus shipping (about 25)

This one is 120 on sale for 75 plus shipping (about 25.00)

The first one has a seat belt, handles and you can choose the color of the main and tail (it does not come with the hat that would be 25 extra).
The second one does not have any options.

The niece is 4

the nephews are 1.5, 2, 4, and 10.

If the seatbelt is not needed in your opinion, I'd go with the cheaper one. The mane and tail colors aren't going to matter much after some time in the sun.

I would choose the 2nd one, less to hang up in if they fall off.

I like the first one. I have 3 (almost 4 kids) and I like the platform between the "stirrups" on the first horse, I think it would make a more sturdy support for their feet getting up, down and riding. I also like that the 1st one has handles to hold on to. I like the seat belt option because a few of your nephews are still really young and would benefit from it. I'm not crazy about the hat (glad that's optional), but the lasso is cute. I agree with Grit about the mane and tail color - a few years in the sun and that won't really matter.

$65. at Orscheln's the other day. We have one, and the kids love it!

Orscheln's, never heard of it -- maybe similar to a Tractor Supply store? I will check at our TSC, last I remember, they did not have them, but I wasn't looking either.

I called TSC and they said that they do have them. I will go this weekend and check them out. Still wondering about quality. the first one just looks so much sturdier. I guess with the board to stabilize, and also it has stirrups. We will see.
