Need help figuring out what went wrong

I am new to incubating chicks and had a first batch come out decently so I am on a 2nd batch now. Its almost lockdown time but when I went to check the eggs that were alive almost a week before, half of them were not developed almost since then. The eggs were accidentaly stored blunt end down and I dont know if that could've made things go downhill? My first batch was also dry incubated because humidity in my cheap incubator would not hold well. Now I have a humidity pump i can track on my phone that my fiance made for me which stays between 50-52% with temp being 99.5 -100.5. I also store them as cool as I can in the garage which is warmer around this time than the last batch I saved. I even candled them less this time. I'm just trying to think about all the different possibilities and if any of those things could have contributed to very low hatch rate. Would really appreciate some input please.

If eggs are stored for more than 7-10 days their hatch rate can drop below 50%. If eggs are stored in too cold of an area, they will also drop in hatch rate. If the eggs are dirty before and/or during incubation bacteria can get into the egg and kill the embryo, and bacteria can spread between eggs if it is particularly bad. If eggs are stored blunt end down, the air cell can become dislodged and things within the egg can be moved out of place, causing eggs to stop developing, or not incubate right period.

Ok thank you for the breakdown of different things based on that maybe it was because of the storage position then. The area I keep them stays about 65 right now and I do keep the completly clean eggs with no cracks I can see when candled. I've been trying hard to get everything as close to what is recommended so that's the only thing I can really think that went wrong. A lot didnt develop properly at all. And the contents seemed a little loose and floaty if that makes sense.
