need help finding a incubator

Ive not hatched eggs in a while 9-10 years ago. so im basically new again. good incubator thats cheap since im only gonna use it maybe once.
Cheap is relative. Maybe include your budget parameters.

I will second the Janoel 12 at it's price point.. 9-12 egg capacity.

but suggest looking at all the little tips and clues given by those who use it. I've hatched many chicks with it successfully.

As an avid over thinker.. it'd take me forever to pull together home built regardless of cost savings.

Many will suggest the Nurture Right 360.. in $150 range. I despise that it let eggs or chicks tumble out when the lid was removed. 21 egg capacity.

I prefer the Hovabator Genesis 1588, with turner, but got my all time best hatch rates hand turning. 42 egg capacity.

All can be resold on craigslist farm and garden section to help recoup cost. Or maybe donated to a local teacher doing hatching projects.

Or, better yet.. hatch more chicks, it's addictive! :wee

I have the NR360 and love everything about it except the lid thing. I usually get my wife to help me wrangle the chicks once we're ready to move them to the brooder. It's amazing how nimble some can become just a few hours after hatching out as a tiny, snot-covered, stumbling mess. Two hours later and they're dodging my hands and trying to leap from the edge of the incubator into the dog's dish.

I honestly think i will just buy some chicks. thank you all
Hatching can be fun. Dealing with extra roosters can be challenging.

Chicks are a great choice, sexed instead of straight run if possible.

There are tons of fun breeds to choose from, (and available with smaller required minimum purchase) at many feed stores this time of year! Many hatcheries also ship with some requiring only small minimums.
