Need help finding a place to buy a small number of (female)chicks!!

So they're currently selling Barred plymouth rock and Barred plymouth rock Bantam's. What exactly is the difference?

Well, mypetchicken.com is out of the question.

They only ship to the U.S.. Im in canada. Anyone else have any other site suggestions?

And one more question, whats the difference between straight run and pullets?

Straight run means you get what you get... the chicks can't be identified as pullet (girl) or rooster. We found our chicks locally by looking on craigslist in the farm section. They were at a country store that ordered them from McMurray Hatcheries.

I'm in Canada too and looking for a small number of chicks. I really think you'd be best off trying the local feed store and if they don't have what you need, they have contacts that sell them the chickens and might be able to link you right up... Gotta use contacts. I think it will be tough to get a small number of chicks from the internet to Canada. Anyway, that has been my conclusion so I'm going local
