I am exhausted trying to get my ducks coop/enclosure done and I am not feeling very creative

. I have six 4 1/2 week old ducks that I have built this for. I added on to my old chicken enclosure, so I need to take down the Biddy Barn sign, and make a new one for ducks. Anyone have any ideas that I can steal?

, or at least give me some words to maybe get my creative juices flowing? All I can think of after cleaning up after them on my porch is Poop Pit, and that isn't very nice!
Thanks for any ideas or directions to go in!

Funny how I raised birds all these years and never felt the need for a sign. What level your birds read at? You can add a sign anytime wait for one you really really like.

Ha! I really haven't worked on their reading skills........maybe it's better they won't be able to read it!

. It will probably take me their whole lives to decide on one I really like........we have a lot of fox around here, I was thinking something maybe along the lines of a painted fox, then "shirt and shoes required" or something. I know they will be lining up trying to get in!
I have never felt the need for a sign for my horse, sheep or goats......don't know why I always do with my birds?

HA! That's another good one..........I knew there were some really good ones out there, and seeing them helps give me ideas. Thank you for that one!

Since you have predators (and therefore, probably thoroughly predator-proofed enclosures), you could make a play on "Fort Ducks." ("Fort Ducks High Security Facility. No Foxes Permitted"--I'm sure you can be more creative than that--just tossing out ideas

I wish BYC had t-shirts & signs with a picture of a duck and their slogan, "My Pets Make Me Breakfast." I think it's very clever, but I don't have chickens, so I'm waiting for the duck version, lol!

How about "Waddle House" (you know you're a Southerner if you get the joke)?

Good luck, and let us know what you decide.

I'll have to ask my kinfolk about Waddle House! My mom is from the South and all my relatives are in GA or NC.
I love the Fort Ducks idea! If I didn't have to predator proof the whole darn thing, it would have been finished eons ago!
Maybe us duck people could come up with our own T-shirt??

Make sure to check out the "fun facts" section here: http://www.wafflehouse.com/funfacts.asp (1,527,602,959.24 eggs served since 1955--wow--I'm not even sure how to *say* that number--rest assured not even ONE of them was a duck egg, however)

It's an icon of the South. If your waitress has at least one tooth missing and calls you "honey," you know you're getting the authentic experience.

Do ask your kinfolk. They'll know. If you use the idea for your sign, make sure you use the yellow squares with black letters--everyone here knows what they mean, because you don't have to know how to read to enjoy Waffle House. This is the South after all. :p

By the way, I'm in Charlotte, NC, and my husband is from Phenix City, AL, which is a suburb of Columbus, GA--wonder if we know any of the same folk?

Oh, one more thing--never order waffles at the Waffle House. Good grief, you don't expect good *waffles* there. No no no. Order a Texas melt with a side of eggs and hash browns--ask for them sliced, diced, scrambled and topped. They'll know what you mean even if you don't.
